The CUE Art Foundation is a non-profit forum for contemporary art with exhibitions, lectures, workshops, a residency, and a young art critics program.
They also run a blog where beginning art critics (or really anyone who wants to write about art) can submit work.

Young Artist Opportunities
A few opportunities I found:
- If you're interested in a summer teaching position, I went to this camp in high school and it's absolutely fabulous (positions for Assistant Head of Studio in Glassblowing, Ceramics, Textiles, Flameworking, Drawing and Color, Welding, Digital Photography, Woodworking, and Metalsmithing & Jewelry Design are available. Link: http://www.snowfarm.org/employment.html
- If you ever wanted to live in an artist colony on a very small island in Maine, here's your chance: http://www.monheganartistsresidency.org/
- Residency in Austria: http://quartier21.mqw.at/Artist-in-Residence/
